Family with children great stopover
Had a pretty comfy family room, tons of space for the little ones. They provided tissues and even sanitary disposal bags without me asking, a nice touch.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

Decent sized and well-maintained room with nice towels, a double bed, as for instance. Easy, convenient location in the fairly quiet area. Very easy to get from Southampton airport, just 25 km.
There was no bar.

During my stay at Days Inn, I found the room clean, the bed comfy, and enjoyed the attentiveness of the staff. Plug placement near the bed could use improvement. A good value for the price.

The room was really pleasant. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The bed was really squeaky, which meant we both got carpet burn on our knees (to avoid disturbing the other guests). Also, the "dining facilities" are the motorway services, which wasn't made very clear while booking. Didn't matter, just meant we couldn't borrow wine glasses.

Staff were very helpful and polite.
It would make access more convenient if the hotel could be accessed by the service road saving the excessive drive to reach it from the south on the motorway. Customers could then use the a roads to reachb the service road. To prevent unauthorised use of the service road automatic number plate reading cameras could be used as customers have to register their cars. This would make the hotel more attractive for use for longer stays rather then just an overnight stay. Service in the cafeteria for breakfast was very inefficient and we had to leave it as it took to long.It is regretful that the hotel has not any smoking rooms and provision of these would attract me to use this hotel more regularly.
